About this fragment: I'm pretty damn bad at what I call "stacked designs". There are tons of people who are incredibly good at stacking dozends of layers of graphical details over another, creating some very beautiful and "complex" (refering to the amount of details) designs.
"Grunge"-stuff is like that, often stacking tons of brushes and words and some girl's pages fit that category as well: With floral shapes, little quotes and colorful visual bits all over the screen.
I completely suck at that. I tried replicating that kind of style several times already and always failed, as I seem to think and design in a much more focused or at least "reduced" way. My characteristic style or flow often revolves around a single idea, with only few peripheral details; thus even if I try to make something grungy, it still looks quite clean.
